Meeting at the border (Sarazm). Arrival to Panjakent. City tour, visiting the ancient Panjakent, the museum and the ancient settlement of Sarazm. After lunch transfer to 7 lakes. Return to the guest house “Najmiddin” where hot green tea is waiting for us. Dinner & overnight at the guest house.
After breakfast transfer to Iskandarkul, but on the way we will stop by the village of Mazori Sharif and visit the mausoleum of Muhammad Bashoro. Iskanderkul lake – which means Alexander. This place is connecting with him. He with his army had a rest on the lake shore after each campaign. Rest on the shore. Transfer to famous city from the Silk route – Khujand. On the way we’ll visit Mazori Sharif Mausoleum (XII), We’ll have delicious specially smoked with juniper lamb/beef at the Shahriston pass in a beautiful mountain view. Visiting Blue Mosque, Hazrati Shoh Mosque. Arrival to Khujand. Break at the hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Khujand is not only one of the most beautiful and ancient cities, but it is unofficially cuisine capital of Central Asia. City tour: Panjshanbe bazar, Arbob Palace, historical museum. Visiting ikat weaving workshop. Lunch at the local restaurant. After transfer to Oybek border
