There are few places in the Zarafshon Valley where nature shows us such unique beauty, and Alauddin Lakes is one of these incredible places.
Amazing, stunning colors of the lake waters, clean air, mountain streams and high, snow covered peaks make it an ideal holiday spot for city dwellers, who are tired of city life and stress.
Tour Program
Drive to Marguzor Village to the traditional homestay – “Shuhrat”. On the way, whenever possible, we will visit the shepherds’ yurts*, which are very rare in these parts. Dinner and overnight at the homestay.
After breakfast we drive to Alouddin, (22km, 1hs). Here we can observe the animals in the summer pastures, try yogurt, milk, Qurut. You will spend the night in tents beside the peaceful surroundings. It is absolutely fantastic spot to see thousands of stars so close over your head. It is like a fairy tale.
After breakfast we will hike to the Mutnoe Lake (8km, 7-8hs; ± 800m). Along the way, heart-warming views on the peaks Qaznok, Zamok (5,070m), Energy (5,105m) and Chimtargha (5,489m) will take your breath away. The harsh nature of the alpine zones, hanging glaciers and steep moraine walls are impressive. We will also see rare birch trees and a small lake, nicknamed for its round shape “Lake Piyola”. In the late afternoon, return to the camp.
After breakfast, walk around the amazing, remarkable and colorful Alauddin lakes. The bravest can take a dip in the cold, but extraordinary clear water.
